Please help MVLL
Hello MVLL Families! We have some exciting news to share! We are in the process of forming teams for the 2021 Spring Season for practices AND games! Due to the recent shift into Red for Santa Clara County, we are now allowed to have a semi-normal, albeit shortened, Spring Season. Many things will look a little different but we will still have a great time and get the kids some safe fun in the sun! In order to deliver a great experience to our players and families, we will need managers and coaches at all levels, including T Ball, Rookie, Farm, Minors and Majors. When we get going with practices and games will be heavily dependent on how quickly we can get managers and coaches signed up so it is critical that we hear from you as soon as possible. Please contact our Training Director, Chris Hyndman ( email@example.com) as soon as possible to let him know of your interest to manage and/or coach and at what level. We have several alumni coaches and board members that can mentor you with all aspects of coaching – how to run a practice, how to create balanced line-ups and field positioning assignments, basic skills appropriate for the level you select, etc. You won’t be alone and it’s super fun!
Thanks in advance for your attention and interest in MVLL. We look forward to seeing you all out at the yard soon!
The MVLL board is working hard to get our 2021 spring baseball season started. We are in contact with the city and county working on a safety plan to allow practice and games when possible. We hope to have our plans approved by the city so we are able to start in early March. You will find the 2021 Frequently Asked Questions in the secondary menu above on this web page.

We anticipate having a 2021 Spring Season, However, there are many questions regarding if and how a spring season will be offered. Whatever the program will become will depend on the safety protocols as mandated by the State of California, Santa Clara County, and City of Mountain View. Prior to starting on-field activities (such as practices, games, or player evaluations) protocols will be established to ensure a safe environment for players, parents, guardians, guests, and our league.
Because it is not practical to have formal registration at this time, we are collecting the names of players and some additional information from interested families to enable us to gauge the number of teams to form in each division as well as identifying prospective team managers and coaches.
Please complete the Interested Player Form. Submit a form for each player.
The 2020 Fall Baseball program is significantly different this year due to COVID-19 and the guidelines for youth activities established by the City of Mountain View. The features of the program are:

- Cost is $50 per player (No sibling disount. Sorry, no fee waivers.)

- The season runs from Monday, September 7 to Sunday, November 1.

Santa Clara County has announced that schools will remain closed for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year and all students will complete this school year using distance learning. [ LINK ] This decision was made after Governor Newsom’s public recommendation on Wednesday that schools shouldn’t resume in-person classes this school year.
Following the guidelines of these state and local health officials, the Board of the Mountain View Little League (MVLL) has decided to cancel the 2020 baseball season. We do not make this decision lightly, to give up on baseball for this season, but the decision was easy to make to protect the health of our players and families.
To help ensure that MVLL can keep our costs low for next season, we request that all players (including T-Ball) return their shirts/jerseys to their manager. All players and coaches should keep your hats! Managers will need to return all MVLL gear, keys and uniforms as soon as you are able to safely collect uniforms. Please contact me, email@example.com , when you are ready to return the equipment and we will schedule drop-off times. In years past, T-Ball players were able to keep their shirts. We apologize for this season being different. The hope is that we’re able to recover all the T-Ball shirts so we can save them for next season.
There are two options for your 2020 MVLL Fees:
(1) Put your 2020 fee towards your 2021 spring season. When you sign up next year, just complete a registration form and mark that you paid in 2020. We’ll verify that a payment was made and apply it to the 2021 season. Even if you move up a division (which usually includes a higher fee), your payment for 2020 will cover the increase and be considered full payment for the 2021 season. Consider it a discount for paying early!
(2) Request a full refund. Note: that this may take some additional time to process given our current situation. Please be patient.
To request a refund or to have the money applied to next year please use this FORM
Our hope is that many of you will remain committed to baseball. If you know your players will want to continue with baseball next season, we hope that you will consider option 1. However, if you would like a refund this season, please let us know.
