Grass Field Closed Due to Rain, April 14, 2022
The city has closed all grass fields for Thursday, April 14.
We anticipate receiving additional rain on Saturday, April 16. As it is the weekend and city offices are closed, if accumulated rainfall exceeds 0.1 inches, proceed with caution. McKelvey will likely not be playable. Monta Loma and other fields may be playable.
Fundraising Event- Santa Clara University Bronco Baseball MVLL Day
Santa Clara University Bronco Baseball is hosting a special day for MVLL. [Information Flyer]
- Sunday, April 24, 2022: Pepperdine v Broncos
- Game time: 12 Noon
- Special activities for MVLL Players
- Pregame talk with Bronco team members (time to be announced)
- Be on the field for the National Anthem
- One lucky MVLL player will throw the first pitch
- Players run the bases after the game
- Stephen Schott Stadium features general seating in an intimate ballpark setting
1. Order tickets from MVLL at tickets@mvll.org. Let us know how many tickets you’d like and how you’d like to receive and pay for them.
2. Receive tickets and payment options:
- Schedule an in-person pickup and payment date and time in the email, or
- Choose to have tickets mailed and use PayPal online payment. (A $1 convenience fee is added to each ticket when using online payment.)

Fundraising Event- SF Giants Little League Days
SF Giants Little League Days [Information Flyer]
The SF Giants is hosting 2 Little League Days this year. Now that Major League Baseball’s lockout is settled, the games dates have been scheduled:
- Sunday, April 10, 2022: Miami Marlins at Giants
- Sunday, May 1, 2022: Washington Nationals at Giants
- Game time: 1:05 PM
- Show up early on game day to get your Kid’s Arm Sleeve or Kid’s Socks, available for the first 5,000 kids, 14 & under. Quantities limited.
- Special activities for Little League Players may be scheduled
- MVLL encourages teams to choose a date and seating section and make it a team outing
SF Giants Oracle Park:
Ticket prices range from $10 to $45 and a portion of each sale is donated to our league. Normally, we would have tickets in hand to sell on our Opening Day and on Picture Day.

In addition to the MVLL rain out phone number, the City of Mountain View has its Athletic Field Closure Hotline at 650-903-6416.
Picture Day and Hit-a-Thon is Sunday, March 27

Picture Day
Each player will receive a free personal and team photo through Shooting Stars Productions, so please be sure to attend this fun day! Be sure to print your online Order Confirmation (receipt) and bring with you on Photo Day. You will need this to enter the photo area.

Hit-a-Thon
We don’t do cookie sales, we don’t do magazine subscriptions, we do Hit-a-Thon! ALL players in ALL divisions will be batting for individual and team prizes in an effort to support MVLL. This is the main fundraiser for the League and your participation is needed and much appreciated. Our player registration fees are very affordable because of the great participation we get at Hit-a-Thon, from our sponsors, and Snack Shack sales. The goal this year is for each player is to raise a minimum of $50 by getting relatives, friends and neighbors to sponsor the player’s participation (families with more than one player can set their fundraising goal at $35 for each youngster). Individual and team prizes will be awarded. Prizes include a Team Pizza party for the overall Team that collects the highest donations, Team Ice Cream parties for Division fundraising leaders and an individual baseball prizes for the Hit-a-Thon distance winner.
The Longest Distance Batter from each team will be awarded a $2 coupon good at McKelvey’s Snack Shack.
A Pledge Collection Form is used by each player to record donation pledges. Pledges can be in an amount per foot of distance batted or as a fixed amount. Amounts collected must be turned in by April 30. Prize winners will be announced at the Closing Ceremony on Saturday, June 4, 2022.
The Snack Shack will be Open! We’ll also be grilling dogs and burgers.
