Mountain View Little League will host the 2016 All-Stars Opening Ceremony at Mountain View's Shoreline Athletic Fields. Event begins at 10 A.M. Teams will assemble (in order) on the field. The Schedule of Events is in this flyer. At the conclusion of the ceremony at noon, the Juniors TOC Championship game will start. (This article will be updated as additional information becomes available.)

SATELLITE MAP [LINK]

PARKING: 150-plus parking spaces adjoin the athletic fields complex. There is additional parking on the street. Please do not use the parking lots of neighboring companies. 

SEATING: There's very limited seating at the complex. Please bring folding chairs. Wear hats and use sunscreen.

FOOD: Hot dogs, nachos, chips, sodas, and water will be available for purchase. Please, do not bring sunflower seeds or gum products.

ARTIFICIAL TURF FIELD: Water only in the dugouts (we will provide cold water and cups). No sports drinks or sodas. No food. No seeds. No gum. Ball players are not allowed to use metal cleat footwear at this facility. image

All-Stars Supporter Caps Available for Purchase

We have a limited number of pro-fit caps available. These caps come in 2 sizes: Sm-Med, and Lg-XL. We are selling the caps at our cost of $15 each. To buy and pickup a cap, send email to Equipment Director Max Melgar to schedule the purchase. Payment in cash or check is preferred. We apologize in advance if we sell out of your selection.

The Cardinals had a bye in the first round of the Majors Tournament of Champions. Sunnyvale Metro had beat Santa Clara Briarwood, 8-7, in Tuesday's first round of games. In the Game Recaps Page on the District 44 website, the following was reported:

Game Highlights: Mountain View defeated Metro with a strong pitching performance by Gabriel Barrett and a big second inning where they scored 10 runs.

The Cardinals go against SC Homestead in the semi-finals round on Saturday, June 18. Game time is 2 PM at Little McKelvey.

Minors AAA Twins Lose to Sunnyvale Southern in TOC

Our Minors Twins lost to Sunnyvale Southern, 5 to 15, at Wednesday's Game 1 played at Campbell Little League. The Twins bow out from the District 44 Tournament of Champions, a single elimination tournament.
