News and Announcements

We are no longer taking registrations for this season’s baseball. Also, we will not have a wait list.

Team managers (except for Farm) will be contacting team parents starting the week of March 28. Several rosters were released over the weekend. Rookie rosters were released on Monday, March 20.

Presently no one has stepped up to be team managers for Farm. We have nearly enough players for 2 teams. Contact president@mvll.org to volunteer.

Please help MVLL

Hello MVLL Families! We have some exciting news to share! We are in the process of forming teams for the 2021 Spring Season for practices AND games! Due to the recent shift into Red for Santa Clara County, we are now allowed to have a semi-normal, albeit shortened, Spring Season. Many things will look a little different but we will still have a great time and get the kids some safe fun in the sun! In order to deliver a great experience to our players and families, we will need managers and coaches at all levels, including T Ball, Rookie, Farm, Minors and Majors. When we get going with practices and games will be heavily dependent on how quickly we can get managers and coaches signed up so it is critical that we hear from you as soon as possible. Please contact our Training Director, Chris Hyndman ( chyndman@mac.com) as soon as possible to let him know of your interest to manage and/or coach and at what level. We have several alumni coaches and board members that can mentor you with all aspects of coaching – how to run a practice, how to create balanced line-ups and field positioning assignments, basic skills appropriate for the level you select, etc. You won’t be alone and it’s super fun!

Thanks in advance for your attention and interest in MVLL. We look forward to seeing you all out at the yard soon!

The MVLL board is working hard to get our 2021 spring baseball season started. We are in contact with the city and county working on a safety plan to allow practice and games when possible. We hope to have our plans approved by the city so we are able to start in early March. You will find the 2021 Frequently Asked Questions in the secondary menu above on this web page.

Dec. 13, 2020

We anticipate having a 2021 Spring Season, However, there are many questions regarding if and how a spring season will be offered. Whatever the program will become will depend on the safety protocols as mandated by the State of California, Santa Clara County, and City of Mountain View. Prior to starting on-field activities (such as practices, games, or player evaluations) protocols will be established to ensure a safe environment for players, parents, guardians, guests, and our league.

Because it is not practical to have formal registration at this time, we are collecting the names of players and some additional information from interested families to enable us to gauge the number of teams to form in each division as well as identifying prospective team managers and coaches.

Please complete the Interested Player Form. Submit a form for each player.
