Fall Ball Team Assignments Completed
The team managers are:
Major Blue – Jeff Homan
Major Red – Kota Morikawa
Minor Blue – Frank Hislop
Minor Red – Garrett Liu
The team managers will be contacting their players this week. Fall Ball families can view the team assignments on the Registration Status webpage. Each team has room for more players in their roster. If you know of someone who has not signed up for Fall Ball and they would be a good addition to your child’s team, please let them know there is still time to sign up.
We are working with the city to see if we can begin practices this week now that we have team formed. When we have the date starting date set, we’ll email all the Fall Ball families about practices and details.
Registration for Fall Ball is CLOSED
Registration for 2021 Fall Ball is Closed. We are 4 weeks into the season and have played 2 of the 8 game season. None of the teams are short on players this season.
Please plan on joining us for the 2022 Spring Baseball season. Registration begins in mid-November. If you are not currently receiving our news emails, please send a subscription request to info@mvll.org.

Incoming Juniors and Juniors are Welcomed to Register for Palo Alto Babe Ruth's Fall Academy
This year’s 12 YOs in Majors and Juniors are welcomed to participate in Palo Alto Babe Ruth’s Fall Academy. Mountain View Babe Ruth has not announced a Fall Ball program and so we reached out to our friends at PABR. The 2021 Fall Academy (Sept to Nov) is currently taking registrations. Registration deadline is Aug 29 Sep 6 (but will actually stay open for longer). Cost for the 10-week program is $425. Sean Hodson, head varsity coach at Saratoga High School, and assistants are running the program. Also, we’ve learned players as far north as Redwood City have registered. The program focuses on player development with two clinic-style practices during the week, and games on the weekends. About half of the registrants are incoming 13s transitioning from Little League to the bigger field.
All practices will be at nearby Baylands Athletic Center in Palo Alto (Hwy 101’s Embarcadero Road exit). The Fall Academy will start practices on Monday, September 13. Practices will be on Mondays and Thursdays from 6 – 8 pm. Games are currently being scheduled and will be on either Saturdays or Sundays.
