News and Announcements
On Friday, January 7, 2022, the Mountain View Whisman School District announced a Quarantine from All Activities notification to several of our baseball families:
Quarantine from all activities: While your child may continue to attend class, they must quarantine from all other activities for up to 10 days (This includes any after school programs or sports).
Consequently, Mountain View Little League will facilitate implementation of the MVWSD quarantine guidance by not holding the Baseball Skills Clinic #2 that was scheduled for Saturday, Jan 15, at Shoreline Athletic Fields. Also, the in-person registration event will not take place.
Our next scheduled Baseball Skills Clinic is on Saturday, February 12, at Shoreline. Please check the status of upcoming MVLL events at our website at mvll.org.
We have received notification from the City for the closure of the two restrooms at Shoreline Athletic Fields for repairs. Portable toilets (porta-potties) will be on-site along with a hand-wash station.
There is currently no timetable for the repairs. (Updated 1/6/2022)
Happy New Year and welcome to 2022. Our first skills clinic for the 2022 Spring Baseball Season will focus exclusively on defensive skills – proper techniques for fielding ground balls and fly balls, defensive positioning, etc. Participants are requested to attend the skills-building session specific to their age-group. The sessions are conducterd by current and former MVLL coaches and alumni MVLL players.
